9-1-1 Remembrance, Quincy, IL

There will be a remembrance ceremony on Wed., Sept. 11th at 8 am outside City Hall in Quincy, IL near the 9-11 artifact and memorial. Quincy Fire Dept. Chaplain, Brother Ed Arambasich, will organize the ceremony. Members of local fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical services are invited to attend, along with the public. Mayor Kyle Moore will be dedicating a painting donated to City Hall by Linda Go which depicts firefighters raising an American Flag at “Ground Zero”. The event should only last about 20 minutes and the public is invited to participate.
